Answers to the things people ask. If yours is not here, email contact@brownfoxgo.com and you will get a reply from a person.
Concentration is the vial’s strength divided by the volume of diluent you added. Your dose divided by that concentration gives the volume to draw, which the App then converts to marks on the syringe you picked. It shows the concentration and the volume alongside the units so you can check every step by hand.
Because the same volume is a different number of units on a U-100 barrel than on a U-40, and showing a mark before knowing which barrel you are holding would be a good way to get someone hurt. Pick the barrel that matches the one in your hand — it is printed on the syringe.
Yes. The calculation lives in its own module with an automated test suite that runs on every build. That said, please check the result yourself before you act on it. Software can be wrong and a value can be mistyped, and here a small error is a big one.
If a vial holds more than one compound, every draw carries all of them in the ratio they were mixed in — you cannot draw more of one without drawing more of the other. The App shows you the dose of each compound in the draw, and changing one updates the rest to match the vial’s ratio. To change the ratio, change the milligrams in the vial or use separate vials.
Your vials, doses, cycles, notes and weights never leave your device. The only thing sent anywhere is the name of a compound you look up, which goes to PubChem and openFDA — two public US government databases — to fetch their public information. If you would rather nothing left at all, turn off network access for the App or use Airplane Mode. Everything except the reference lookups works offline. Details in the Privacy Policy.
Deliberately. Most of these substances are not approved for human use, which means no regulator has reviewed any claim about what they do in people. We show public chemistry and the public regulatory record, and we leave the rest to you and your clinician. It is a calculator, not an adviser, and it will stay one.
Each entry carries the date it was compiled, and the list is loaded fresh rather than baked into the App, so it can be corrected without an update. If you spot something wrong or missing, email us with a link to the agency document and it will be fixed.
Tap Restore Purchases in the App. The unlock is tied to the Apple ID that bought it, so make sure you are signed in with the same one. If it still does not appear, email us with the date of purchase.
Your log is stored only on your device and we have no copy, because we run no servers. Deleting the App, or clearing its data, removes it permanently and we cannot recover it. The purchase can be restored; the log cannot.
Delete the App. Everything it holds goes with it. Nothing is kept anywhere else.
The App is a personal tool and is not a medical device. If you are a licensed professional, any clinical use is yours to take responsibility for, under your own judgment and your own verification.
