Texas ranch and oil, 1919 onward

A single-player simulation about running a Texas ranch: grass, cattle, land, and the oil under it, against a century of weather and prices that actually happened. Everything below is the short answer; if it is not here, email gacktaylor@gmail.com and you will get a reply from a person.

I bought the Landowner’s Pass and it is not showing

Open Store and tap Restore purchases. The Pass is tied to the store account that bought it, so use the same Apple ID or Google account. If it still does not appear, email us with the date of purchase.

Can I restore a cash pack?

No. Cash packs are consumable purchases — they are spent into an outfit the moment they are bought, and the store does not restore consumables. The Landowner’s Pass is the only restorable purchase.

I bought cash and do not see it

Purchased cash lands on the outfit you have open. If the purchase completed while you were not in a game — an approval that came through later, for instance — it is held and applied the next time you open an outfit. Open a save and check the cash book; it appears there as a Purchase entry.

I lost my saved games

Saved games are stored only on your device. They are not backed up to us, because we have no servers. Deleting the app, or clearing its data, removes them permanently and we cannot recover them. Purchases can be restored; saves cannot.

How do I change my ad privacy choice?

Open Store and tap Privacy options. That control appears in regions where it is required. You can also reset or limit your advertising identifier in your device settings — iOS: Settings › Privacy & Security › Tracking; Android: Settings › Privacy › Ads.

How do I get rid of the ads?

The Landowner’s Pass removes the full-screen ad that appears between turns, permanently, on every outfit. Rewarded ads stay available, but only ever play when you choose to watch one.

How do I delete my data?

Delete the app. Everything the game stores — saves, settings, and the record of which purchases you own — lives on the device and goes with it. Nothing is held anywhere else.

Is the history real?

The price and rainfall series are built from real records, and the events are the real ones: the 1920–21 agricultural collapse, the Depression, the Dust Bowl, the post-war herd cycles. The simulation on top of them is simplified for the sake of a game, and none of it is advice about anything.
