Lone Star Baron

Terms of Use

Effective August 9, 2026

By downloading or using Lone Star Baron (“the App”) you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the App.

1. What the App is

The App is a single-player simulation game about running a Texas ranch from 1919 onward. It is entertainment. Every ranch, herd, parcel, well, lease, and dollar in it is fictional and exists only inside the game.

2. No real money, and no gambling

All cash, cattle, land, and oil in the App are virtual. They have no monetary value, cannot be exchanged for money or anything of value, and cannot be transferred out of the App. Nothing in the App is a wager, a lottery, a game of chance played for value, or any other form of gambling. Real money buys only the items described in section 4, and those items stay inside the App.

3. Not financial or agricultural advice

The App uses real historical records — commodity prices, rainfall, land-value indices — to drive a simulation. It simplifies them heavily, and its model of ranching, drilling, leasing, and borrowing is designed to be interesting to play rather than to be accurate. Nothing in the App is investment, financial, tax, legal, or agricultural advice, and it must not be relied on for any real decision.

4. Purchases

5. Advertising

The App shows ads from Google AdMob, including optional rewarded ads you may choose to watch. We do not control which specific ads appear. See the Privacy Policy for what advertising involves and how to change your choices.

6. Your saved games

Saved games live on your device and nowhere else. We cannot see them, recover them, or restore them. Deleting the App deletes them permanently. Purchase entitlements are tied to your store account and can be restored; the games themselves cannot.

7. Licence

You are granted a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable licence to use the App for your own entertainment. You may not copy, sell, rent, reverse-engineer, decompile, or make derivative works from the App except where that restriction is prohibited by law.

8. Historical names and places

The App refers to real Texas counties, regions, and historical events. Company and person names appearing in the game are fictional or historical references used for flavour, and imply no affiliation with, endorsement by, or sponsorship from any real entity, living or dead.

9. Disclaimer of warranties

The App is provided “as is” and “as available,” without warranty of any kind, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the App will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of data loss.

10. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for lost data or lost saved games, arising from your use of the App. Where liability cannot be excluded, it is limited to the amount you paid for the App and its in-app purchases in the twelve months before the claim. Some jurisdictions do not allow these exclusions, so parts of this section may not apply to you.

11. Changes

We may update these Terms as the App changes. Continuing to use the App after an update means you accept the revised Terms. The effective date above reflects the current version.
